Welcome to JMA

To give more people the opportunity to roleplay (as well as create a safe environment for the fictional children) we have some head canons!

JMA is set in the mountains, being built off of the canon location and developed into a more serious school. Jade Mountain Academy is a well-off on-campus school. Children are brought here to develop: basic learning, social skills, peace between the many tribes' youth, and more.

Although before your dragonet can attend JMA there are some rules, and first steps!

• JMA does not take in students for free. Your student character must be able to pay as to attend, this can be by: their parents, funds the dragonet has saved, a sponsor, or a special scholarship from JMA when they are recognized for their high status, talent, or intelligence.

• JMA focuses on their students' and staff's safety, and will not be taking in Firescales, Icescales, known criminals, or other highly dangerous dragons. However, the children unable to be taken in by JMA are always able to take on private teachings and tutors.

Dragonet Winglets

Listed below are how each dragonet is sorted into a winglet. Dragonets who are below the minimum age (2 years old) cannot attend JMA. Once a dragonet reaches 8 years old they graduate out of JMA

Dorming at JMA

Dorms are sectioned out between each winglet, meaning your character may only room with their own winglet. Rooms consist of 1-3 dragons. Some special needs dragons can have a room to themself, or have a singular roommate if needed. Generally, once you have a roommate, you will have them until you graduate from the school unless you privately ask to change room or the staff separate you for misbehavior
